As a Network Engineer at YouZee Technologies, you will design, implement, and manage our network infrastructure. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the network systems that support core organizational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Configure and maintain network security measures, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system issues.
• Conduct network capacity planning and performance analysis.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans for network systems.
• Develop and document network design standards and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT staff and third-party vendors to ensure network efficiency and security.
• Provide network support and troubleshooting for end-users and other IT staff.
• Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and technologies.
• Experience with network security concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and network diagnostic utilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar.
• Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network automation.
• Familiarity with network virtualization and SDN technologies.
• Understanding of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
