Job Description:

As an IT Tech Support Specialist at YouZee Technologies, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users. You will address hardware and software issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure that IT systems run smoothly. Your role is crucial in maintaining the productivity and efficiency of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for IT-related issues via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to service requests and incidents.
  • Document and track issues using a ticketing system.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure system security and performance.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
  • Assist in the management of IT assets and inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with common office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer-service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
