As a System Administrator at YouZee Technologies, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting our company’s IT infrastructure. This includes servers, networks, and various systems that ensure the smooth operation of our technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, software, and network components.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory.
• Maintain security protocols, including antivirus, firewall, and intrusion detection systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Automate routine tasks and enhance system efficiency through scripting.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and implement IT projects.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with network protocols and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
